Description
|
This lovely piece of lakefront property has been in the Wallace family for over sixty years.There are two cottages-one on top of the hill overlooking the lake and the bottom nestled halfway down the hill-closer to the beach.The Top Cottage is used by the Wallace family and rented occassionally to accomodate a bigger family group or small party (max 4). Not on booking calendar.
The Beach is reached by a lovely set of steps.Our beach is secluded with sand and stone depending on the wind the previous winter.The sunsets are some of the best in the world and the swimming is great.Our property is bordered by a stream with a great clay bottom-fabulous for children to paddle and muck around in.For the adventurous you can walk south on the beach to the town of Goderich in about one hour.Going north along the beach approx the same distance is Point Farms Provincial Park.
There is an aluminum row boat,lots of beach chairs and sun shelter.

Pets allowed: Yes. well behaved pets welcome
Equipments:BBQ, radio, ipod doc, radio, tv and dvd player.
The Bottom Cottage was built 17 years ago to replace the original cottage and was designed by local architect Adolpho Spaleta.This 4 bedroom open concept cottage has 2 bathrooms,a fireplace,fully equipped kitchen,a large deck/patio overlooking the lake with a barbeque. A recent addition is an outdoor shower for the kids to wash the sand off from a day at the beach and for the adventurous to get clean in the woods.This cottage is available for rental three seasons.

A refundable $300 damage deposit due upon arrival.
