Description
|
The Last Resort cottage is located on the north shore of Prince Edward Island. We are on the Points East Coastal Drive if you are looking at an island map. This 3 bedroom cottage rental is also only 15 kms from the Seaside Town of Souris. Our PEI cottage rental is right on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and very private.
Souris has your town amenities; hospital, grocery stores (2), gas stations, Post Office, restaurants, craft shops, library, flower stores, churches, museums, festivals and events, etc. The eastern region of the island offers lots to see and do for your summer vacation.
Do you like to golf? There are six 18 whole golf courses and 4 nine hole golf courses. Three of these courses are Provincial courses; Dundarave, Brudenell and Crowbrush.
The Last Resort, Prince Edward Island cottage rental is also only 15 minutes to North Lake, which is known as the Tuna capital of the world. If you are interested in Tuna Fishing then head up and watch them take the large blue fin's ashore r book a tour. North Lake also offers deep-sea fishing tours, whale watching tours and feeding the tuna tours. During lobster season frop by the wharf and get a fresh feed. If you travel a bit father you will be at the eastern tip of PEI where you can visit East Point Lighthouse. Climb to the top for a breathtaking view of the area. At East Point you'll see where two bodies of water, Gulf of Saint Lawrence and the Northumberland Strait meet, look for the seals playing in the waves.
If you are looking for great beaches you are in luck. Although there is a small beach at the cottage depending on the type of winter we have on PEI. Only minutes from the cottage you'll find as many as 7 other great island beaches. Basin Head is one of those beaches and considered one of the best of Prince Edward Island. It is called also called ?Singing Sands?, walk for over 7 miles and be entertained by the singing as you scuff your feet in the sands.
With all the fresh seafood, meats and vegetables the island has to offer you will enjoy lots of island cuisine at the local restaurants. If you like to cook then you will be excited to find all the island has to offer from the local seafood markets, farmers markets or along the roadside at the stands

Information sur la localisation : Located in RockBarra on the northshore, the cottage is a 1000 sq feet with 3 bedrooms with a queen size bed , double and 2 singles. The front of the cottage is open concept with kitchen in one end and family room with sat tv on the other and a panoramic view with windows overlooking the water a view like no other It is located right on the gulf with a walkway right down to the water , and a trail that goes for miles along the cape. It is a 10 min drive to Souris which has a hospital ,groceries ,
