Description
|
The property includes the main cottage with 4 bedrooms and an open concept living room, kitchen and dining area.
There is 160' frontage on the lake. There are 80 steps down, to a private sandy beach area; Stairs to beach are nicely designed with small landings along the way. The water is shallow with pebbles at entry for first few feet. There are shallow sandbars just beyond. There is boat launching & docking facilities available in Grand Bend. Sorry no boat or dock available with cottage. You can walk quite a ways along the beach both north & south.
There is a $200 non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking. The cottage will not be reserved until this money has been paid.
There is a $250 damage/cleanliness deposit required at the time of possession. The deposit cheque will be mailed back to you after the cottage passes a thorough inspection with respect to cleanliness (ie not left messy) and there is no damage to the property or its contents.
There are 3 double beds and 1 set of single bunk beds. Please bring your own bedding and towels.

The kitchen has pots and pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, etc. There are 2 fridges and a stove. There is also a 3 piece bathroom. There is a deck at rear of cottage which provides ample space for BBQ'ing and relaxing. There are plenty of chairs, propane BBQ, fire pit , swing set, TV with satellite service, DVD player, radio, CD player, wood fireplace in the living room, ceiling fan and telephone available (sorry no long distance service).

We are starting to book for 2013, availability is July 1/2013 to Sept 30/2013 only. We only rent to families.
Price may increase depending on # of people. We do not allow more than 8 people at any one time because of the septic system. Please inquire first. We are family oriented.
2012 rates are $1,250 / week - July to Labour Day; 2013 are subject to change.
$200 non-redeemable deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Plus a $250 damage deposit.
$100 / night in September after Labour Day.
Possession is Saturday to Saturday, negotiable in September.
