Description
|
Beach front lot has a cliff to the red sand beach with beach access only a short distance from the cottage. The water is generally a bit warmer than on the New England Coast to the surprise of many. (Some claim it is the warmest water north of the Carolinas). The beach at low tide is a great place to stroll as well as collect clams for lunch.
CANCELATIONS must be received 90 days prior to occupancy date for full refund.

Equipments:
Three Bedrooms have queen size beds There is a large sitting area with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. Attached photo shows the view. There is a fully-equipped kitchen which includes all utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher, coffeemaker, etc. A large deck overlooks the ocean and is equipped with gas grill, deck furniture and umbrella. We have a single bath with full size tub and shower. Everything is provided, including Sheets, Towels and an ample supply of blankets , quilts, pillows, etc.

Hi Gordon,
Sorry I didn't respond sooner but work had piled up quite a bit
while I was away. Anyway, the vacation was fantastic! Your cottage is
beautiful and even bigger than expected. The view is something else! I would
highly recommend your property to anyone who is planning a trip to PEI. If
we do head that way again sometime we will definitely plan to contact you
for making another reservation. The low tide walks on the beach were a high
point for us all, nothing like running from sand bar to sand bar with the
kids and dog. Improvements or suggestions.... hmmmm. Even on the really hot
days, of which we had a lot, we could sit inside in relative comfort. The
evenings cooled things off nicely though. The ceiling fan does have a slight
creak and wobble but, so long as it is not on high speed, it is just fine. I
talked to Walter a few times and he did remark that it was the hottest
Summer since some time in the 60s. I can't really think of anything worth
mentioning as far as improving the stay. You have definitely got a beautiful
piece of PEI to showcase. Thanks again very much for the cottage, it was
greatly appreciated.

Information sur la localisation : Situated on the south shore of the Island. We are half way between the Confederation Bridge and Charlottetown. It is about a thirty minute drive to the National Parks on the North shore or to Summerside, the second largest City on the Island. Charlottetown, the capital city, is just twenty minutes away.
