Rarely does a spectacular cottage retreat like this become available. This property is situated on the south eastern shore of Black Lake. With this type of exposure you will not only be vacationing in a comfortable cabin but you will also be captivated by a nightly sunset. Located only 15 minutes south of Perth and 1 hour from Ottawa or Kingston on a private road just off paved County Road # 10. The private beach is on Black Lake, a spring-fed lake with crystal clear water. We have claimed that we have always been able to drink ?Black Lake tea?. There is no public access.
There is approximately 5 miles of boatable waters. It is a picturesque lake with islands, inlets & well spaced cottages. It is a low density lake. And it has a Cottage/Homeowners Association insuring that landowners maintain the natural beauty of the area. There is an excellent fish population which includes large & small mouth bass, panfish, pike, perch, pickerel & catfish. Other favourite pastimes on this lake include canoeing, kayaking, pontooning, water skiing & boarding, seasonal fishing. Our lakeside firepit makes for scenic stary nights and great entertainment. A perfect place to make summer memories.
You can fish right from your own dock. There are spectacular, to-die for, views & sunsets over the bay and you must love the cry of the loon. We require a deposit of $300 for a weekend & $500 for weekly rentals to reserve your stay the balance that remains,$300 for weekend or $600 for weekend is due upon arrival to the cottage. A $500 security deposit cheque post dated for departure date is required upon booking. This is held for damages. Once the cottage has been inspected after your departure & there are no damages your cheque will be mailed back to you. Once we receive your 2 deposit cheques we will hold the dates for you & email you a rental agreement.
