Our motto: "SIMPLY RESTFUL." With a relaxing presentation of "Rocky Mountain Country" - this 1400 Sq. Ft., 4-star Villa is unique in the area for the reasons explained below. The property is located at the end of a quiet country lane which welcomes you into a cone of peaceful, secluded quiet in the woods.

The above points expanded:

1. The country location: this townhouse style Villa is 5 km south of the town of Radium in the country. In this way, it is unlike the typical high-density "in town" facilities. You hear no sounds of traffic - ever. The location is at the end of a country lane, with only the sounds of nature to enjoy.

2. Nature at your door: there is a wonderful network of natural trails right out the door. No need to drive to someplace else to get "natural" - do it right from the Villa: hike, bike, x-country ski, snow shoe, birding, picnic, photography - all available when you feel like it without getting into the car. Enjoy the song birds, deer, elk, mountain sheep - all frequently seen.

3. Access to Resort facilities: approximately 1km away is the Radium Resort club house. The 18 hole resort course is beautiful, along with a pool, hot tub, exercise center, tennis, racquet ball, spa, restaurant/lounge. The resort welcomes the public. It's like being at a Resort - without being in the centre of the activities.

4. Unusual quiet: many of our guests comment on the wonderfully quiet surroundings. There simply is no traffic, few people, shaded among the pines - it is truly a peaceful setting. You'll find it immediately relaxing with few interruptions to the sounds of quiet.

5. On the course: the 7th fairway of the Radium Resort golf course is overlooked from the spacious deck, yet is far enough away that you don't have to be concerned with stray balls or the sounds of golfing. For the golfers, this is an affordable golf course and a local favourite for families and beginners with a good mix of challenge and simplicity for all levels of golfer. Our guests often take their kids golfing without the pressures of more prestigious courses - it's a very friendly golf course.

6. This Villa is totally equipped with high quality beds, linens, modern electronics for your enjoyment, comfortable interior couches, dining area and deck. Utensils in the kitchen are complete - you will find everything you need to prepare the most sophisticated meals you wish. Our aim for a standard of quality, is "4-star" - our guests often comment positively on the personal comforts of Villa 8.

7. Driving to Villa 8 through Kootenay National Park is a wonderful example of "beautiful mountain drives." It is one of the most scenic drives you'll find in the area.

Ahh! The Radium Hot Springs pools are a 10 minute drive, or a 7 km hike or bike ride on a beautifully wooded trail. A dip in the Hot Springs and/or a swim in the "cool" pool will relax and invigorate.

Lake Windermere beaches are just 15 km away - Panorama Ski area is 35 km away. There are 14 Golf courses within a 30 minute drive. The Ski areas of, Kimberly, Kicking Horse, Fairmont Hot Springs are all within a one hour drive. Lake Louise and Sunshine Village - both an easy day trip ski experience being about a 1.5 hour drive.

We offer significant multi-stay discounts to those who would like to use the Villa several times over the course of a year. Just let us know what you may be interested in and we'll work together.

Have a large group? If you have a large group and need more than one unit on the same site, please let us know. We often have access to a similar Villa right next door.

Equipments: This Villa is equipped with everything you'd expect for an all inclusive stay.

This 1400 sq ft Villa is fully equipped including many recent upgrades - you need only bring your clothing and food. There are three spacious bedrooms, one with a King Bed and a double futon, and the others each have Queen beds. The deck has ample room for summer pleasure, and a BBQ. There is cable tv, dvd player, wood fireplace(winter use), washer & dryer, dishwasher, and all the kitchen utensils and appliance you'll need. There is a full bathroom on each level.

To appeal to families, we intentionally price our Villa very competitively vs similar properties in the area. In this way, we get many return guests who like the reliability of the Villa and the consistent delivery of an enjoyable vacation stay.
