Located two hours north of Toronto in the heart of Muskoka it offers 150 acres of unspoiled wilderness just 15 minutes from the shopping, restaurants and conveniences of Bracebridge.With only one cottage on the lake, it is yours alone to enjoy. Spring fed, the lake is almost one klm long and a quarter klm wide. Down a short stone walkway in front of the cottage, a smooth granite rock forms an exquisite natural dock, fire pit and sitting area.
Swimming is wonderful in shallow or deep water or you can enjoy the lake in the canoe and kayak that are provided. If you're interested in exploring nature, this is the perfect spot. The lake is home to all kinds of wildlife including loons, otters, beaver, turtles, fish and frogs. Moose and deer have been spotted at the waters edge enjoying the cool clean water.
Walking trails through the forest can offer countless hours of enjoyment. Ennis Lake is the perfect retreat to
unwind, reconnect with nature and recharge your batteries in total peace and comfort.
The architecturally designed cottage has all the modern conveniences. Luxury features abound including a large screened Muskoka room, classic stone wood burning fireplace and floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the lake and surrounding forest.
Enjoy the peace and serenity this unique property offers in absolute comfort. The bright, spacious 2000
square foot, smoke-free cottage has all pine floors with post and beam accents.
The large, modern kitchen is fully equipped and if you're feeling adventurous you can try your hand at cooking on the Elmira wood stove. Dine indoors on the custom made harvest table where you can look out at the lake or on the screened porch where the pine ceiling and Tiffany style lighting add character and charm.
A large cedar deck off the porch overlooks the lake offering the perfect vantage point to enjoy the birds and wildflowers.
On cool evenings you can cozy up in the open concept living room on the comfy down filled couch, enjoy
the fire in the Muskoka stone fireplace, play games or read. Or you can just watch the moon chase the stars across the night sky through the floor to ceiling windows which face the lake the entire front wall of the cottage.
In the main floor master bedroom you can relax and unwind in the whirlpool tub in the large ensuite bathroom. Wake up and gaze out the sliding glass doors at the sparkling waters and magnificent pine trees.
Upstairs two additional bedrooms and a loft style sitting area feature 18 foot sloping ceilings and custom arched windows overlooking the lake and forest. There is also a full four piece bathroom and walk in storage area on the second floor.
