There are many features of this superb property offering the 'WOW' factor - that instantaneous impression of quality and ambiance that sets a cottage apart in a class of its own. Luxury Lake House most definitely has the WOW factor... fabulous views, charm and ambiance... modern and bright, elegant, but still casual and fun.
This more than 1-acre property is a very private, peaceful and tranquil setting with manicured grounds and lots of grassy play areas. The open concept cottage has many large windows and skylights to allow sunlight to stream into the interior space for guests to view the fabulous scenery that surrounds the cottage. The privacy level here is high as there are no close neighbours.
The first thing you will notice when you enter Luxury Lake House are the large windows in the all-season sun room giving spectacular views of Lake Erie across the large expanse of lawn. The open concept living, dining and kitchen area is light and airy with vaulted ceilings.
The spectacular, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with large centre island will ensure the upmost in creature comforts and delight the nominated chef. It is custom designed with top line appliances; Jenn-Air countertop stove, built-in oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher which means you certainly won't have to rough it. There is plenty of counter and cupboard space for storage during your stay.
There are multiple dining areas to choose from..casual dining around the centre island, the high dining table near the kitchen, or for family gatherings the large solid wood table in the sunroom.
A barbeque is provided to grill up your savory summer dinners. Directly outside the kitchen at the rear of the cottage is a multi-level deck with a westerly aspect that offers superb sunset viewing, a covered barbeque area, outdoor furniture for dining under the stars and an outdoor shower for a natural and relaxing experience that can't be beat. Beyond the manicured grounds in the fenced back yard you will see picturesque rolling farmland. After the sun sets, the evening skies are open and provide breathtaking views of the stars, the moon, and the whole night time sky.
The living area of the great room comes complete with comfy sectional seating, gas fireplace, large screen television, entertainment system and DVD Blu Ray player creating a great venue to enjoy family time on cooler evenings.
There is a 3 piece designer bathroom on the main level. Separate laundry facilities on the main floor complete this comprehensive accommodation and save you the hassle of going into town on your precious vacation time.
The comfortable sitting area in the sunroom is the perfect spot for your morning coffee watching the sunrise over the Lake, or whiling away a few hours with nothing but the warm breeze and the view to share your reading and thinking space, or take in the spectacular views of Lake Erie the large windows provide while enjoying family meals. You could stay here forever and never tire of the view!
The bedrooms are supremely comfortable - all towels and linens are provided so guests will arrive to find the beds made up and ready for a good night's sleep. The large master bedroom complete with king size bed, his and her closets, ensuite bath, whirlpool tub and large bay window facing the Lake, is worthy of that found in a 5-star resort! The bay window seat is a relaxing place to read, feel the lake breeze or just enjoy the view.
On the lower level is another 5-star suite; a large L-shaped room complete with 2 queen size beds, a double bed and a television sitting area. Also on the lower level is a separate bedroom with a queen size bed and the third bathroom that drips elegance with heated ceramic floors, designer bowl sink, and an oversized shower.
When you finally get over the awe factor and venture across the lawn and the meandering road along the shoreline to the waterfront, you can relax on the shore in the sun, bird watch, take a stroll along the beach, or supervise the kids playing in the warm and shallow water while lounging on the custom made wooden beach furniture. The shoreline is a flat surface of limestone bedrock with safe access to good swimming. There's nothing like an evening bonfire in the fire pit right on the shoreline to roast marshmallows under a star filled sky.
Luxury Lake House is a housekeeping cottage suitable for up to 10 adults, or a family with children.
Everything is included in your rental; pillows, blankets, all bedding, linens, bath and kitchen towels, paper products, deck and beach furniture, barbeque with propane, and firewood. All you need to bring are personal effects and groceries!
The pervading nautical theme throughout the cottage with many accents, pictures and nautical touches give it a tranquil ambience. For sheer comfort and elegance, you will be hard pressed to find anything comparable in the area. Truly a piece of paradise for a romantic getaway for two or a private family retreat.
