IMPORTANT:
*** Only full week rentals are available. Please do not contact for weekends, long weekends, partial weeks, May 24 weekend etc.
This is a spacious, three season cottage on quiet motor free Lucerne Lake, just outside of Bancroft. It has been recently renovated and is furnished with Mexican rustic furniture. The cottage sleeps 6-7 (one queen, one double and a double over single bunkbed). It has a spacious dining room with a reading area and lots of books. The living room has comfy sofas perfect for kicking back and watching a movie or the wildlife (cranes and loons). Laundry facilities on site. There is large sloping lawn down to the water for croquet, volleyball and lawn bowling (games are available for renters). There are comfortable wooden chairs at the fire pit - perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, afternoon drink at the water's edge or an evening campfire. The beach is pretty shallow, making it super safe for kids. Our children spend all day by the water's edge exploring nature. Swimming is from the floating dock, which is only a 30 second paddle boat ride away, where the water is deep, clean and pleasantly warm.
Please bring linens and towels. Although there is no land line, your cell phone will work here.
We have a high standard of cleanliness and appreciate that our renters respect us by leaving the cottage as found upon arrival.
Heating: gas stove and Quebec stove
Guests allowed: Dependent on number of renters. Please check with owners.
Equipment:
Waterfront, swimming and fishing, BBQ, Hot tub, washer/dryer, microwave, fans in every room, campfire pit, 1 canoe, 1 paddleboat, PFDs, tv/DVD/VCR (no cable), coffee maker, 1 queen tempurpedic bed, 1 double bed, 1 bunkbed - double over single, reclining sofas and loveseat, Muskoka chairs, hammock, picnic table, pack n' play for baby.

Information sur la localisation : Lucerne Lake is a small motor free lake that is close enough to the varied amenities of Bancroft, but far enough away to provide peace and quiet. The lake is a quiet family lake with only 17 cottages on it and can be paddled or even swam across. The area borders on Crown Land and trails. The nearest larger lake is Lake L'Amable - which is a 5 minute drive away. This lake has a boat access and small beach.

Minimum rental: 1 week - We cannot accommodate partial week or weekend rentals - sorry!
Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday
2013 Rates are as follows:
$1250 per week
Check-in time is 3:00 pm
Check-out time is 11:00 am (unless otherwise agreed upon with owner)
Please understand:
The $500 booking deposit (to be cashed once received) and a complete, signed rental agreement are required to confirm and hold your rental dates. This deposit will be mailed back within 1 week of the departure date for renters; the amount of this refund will be based upon an inventory check and the state of cottage upon check-out. Reservations made via email or phone are non-binding without a cashed deposit and completed agreement signed by both parties. The full rental fee is due within 1 month (30 days) of the agreed-upon arrival date.
