Description
|
This fully equipped cottage and boathouse are situated in a prestige area near the end of Long Point on Balsam Lake. The wooded area and property are predominately flat with lots of lawn space for children and adults to enjoy. The stunning South East view receives sun from morning until early evening and 200' of lake frontage ensures privacy and plenty of space from the adjacent cottages.
There are many vantages from which to enjoy views of the lake including an upper deck, lawn areas and a large lower dock. The water is 4' deep and weed free off the main dock making it great for swimming. The bottom is mainly sand / mud with some rocks and there is also a shallow area that allows for wade in access. Because the location is leeward to the prevailing wind and is sheltered thus it is much calmer than other parts of the lake.
Renters have use of two buildings: a contemporary boathouse with one bedroom on the water (queen bed); and a more traditional cottage with three additional bedrooms (2 queen beds and two twins). Each building has its own kitchen, refrigerator and bathroom. There is one shower.
The basic rental includes pillows and mattress pads, with high quality bedding and duvets available for an additional fee.
Pets Subject to approval and smoking is not permitted within the buildings.
