Description
|
Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Shield lies beautiful, spring fed Black Lake. Lions Head cottage, with breath taking views and stunning sunrises, sits high on the shore of this lake. Lions Head is a recently renovated, clean, quiet, three bedroom cottage with a three piece bath and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests are free to enjoy any number of outdoor activities from fishing to kayaking, hiking to cycling, as well as swimming or fishing off your own private dock.
You may choose to explore historic Perth, shop in Canada's best known health food store or simply stop and have a bite to eat. If you play golf, why not try out Canada's oldest golf course. You may also choose to visit Westport and the wonderful array of shops; or, you may simply curl up with a good book on the dock, the deck or in the sunroom. The choice is yours.
Black Lake is a clean, spring fed lake with great fishing and weed free swimming off the dock.
Rental during the summer season is for a minimum of one week.
Check-in is on Saturday at 4:00pm. Someone will meet you at the cottage with the keys.
Check-out is the following Saturday at noon.
Heating: Propane Stove, electric heaters
Smoking: Yes. Outside only
Pets allowed: Yes. Conditions apply. The desire to include bring a pet must be mentioned in initial contact. Extra fees for cleaning as well as a security deposit will be requested. The security deposit will be returned once the cottage has been inspected, assuming that there is no damage to the property.
Equipment:
1 master bedroom with a queen size bed and 2 smaller bedrooms with double beds; each bed has pillows, blankets and a comforter (please bring linens with you) + a sofa bed in the sunroom;
3 piece bath with shower;
fully equipped kitchen includes coffee maker, microwave, full size fridge and stove, and everything necessary to make a gourmet meal or a sandwich;
BBQ; TV; DVD; radio
Water is drawn from the lake, bring drinking water. If the evenings are cool, there are electric heaters and a propane stove to keep you warm
