Description
|
The cottage is located on Lake Erie in between 2 great beaches in Norfolk and Elgin. It is situated very privately on a large piece of land with walking and birding trails along the creek. The cottage consists of 3 levels with observation decks at the front and back. The front has 2 decks overlooking Lake Erie, the back decks overlook a small valley with a stream.
The cottage is set up for two adults and up to two children. There are two bedrooms on the top floor, with a single and a double bed. The other bedroom is on the main floor with a single bed. There is a pull out couch for additional sleeping. A profusion of bird life can be viewed from the deck and property. Seniors and retirees have loved it here. Please inquire about additional guests.
This is a totally green cottage. There are tree covered walking trails along the creek and there are wind turbines in the distance. The months of September-October are sensational colour and birding months. So are April-May with many specials. All in southern Ontario within an hour or two of the major Ontario cities. Many guests have stayed here to tour to Niagara Falls or Point Pelee or to attend the world renowed Shakespeare Festival in Stratford. Shopping trips to London or Hamilton are easy.

The cottage is fully furnished with a fridge and stove, washer and microwave , TV and CD player and Dishwasher.
There is a gas BBQ and a fire pit outside. It has one bathroom on the main floor.
BBQ gas is provided as well as a limited quantity of firewood to start things off.
The cottage is unique for its setting, cleanliness and privacy. Very close to major beaches and shopping facilities.

Information sur la localisation : The cottage is located on Lakeshore Rd. by Clear Creek in Norfolk County in a quiet location overlooking Lake Erie. We are located 2 hours from the Toronto Airport and 45 minutes south of Hiways # 401 and #403. Large cities in the area are London. Brantford, Hamilton, Kitchener and Niagara Falls. Major beaches such as Pt. Burwell, Long Point, Turkey Point, the Sand Hills are short drive from the cottage and can easily be accessed from the cottage.

The cottage is rented by the week for $650.00 for a 7 night stay of up to 4 people and not more than 2 adults unless prior arrangements are made. Adults are people over 16 years of age for the purposes of this rental. We rent from Saturday to Saturday. Special rates are available for off season stays. No pets please. A/C is extra at $50.00/week. BBQ gas is supplied gratis for a reasonable supply. A quantity of firewood is supplied free of charge. Overnight guests must be registered at time of booking.
Bedding and towels etc. may be rented, if needed.
