Description
|
3 bedroom winterized log home nestled in magnificent white pines. Very private with no visible neighbours. Situated on a hill, our home overlooks a small quiet lake. Enjoy the 12 acre property on a private road. Sit out on the deck and observe hummingbirds, otters, and blue herons. In the summer swim off our float and in the winter skate or play hockey on our large skating rink. So close to Ottawa (30 minutes) yet a very tranquil private property for those who wish to get away from it all. The cottage is available to families and adults over 25 years of age. Absolutely no party groups.
There are no motorboats on the lake and at night you can hear a choir of bullfrogs.Enjoy swimming, hiking on our trails, skiing and snowshoeing. We make a very large skating rink in the winter for recreational skating and hockey games. Great for hockey families!
Waterfront: 2 lakes to swim in. One is right in front of home off float. The other is a 10 minute walk - swim from shallow end. Also private property.
Heating: electric baseboard heaters and wood stove.
Guests allowed: Yes. 6 person limit
Pets allowed: Yes. Renter is responsible for any pet damage and there is a poop & scoop policy for the lawn.
Equipments:
A 3 bedroom log home with all modern conveniences. We have a modern bathroom with bath and shower. There is a lovely fireplace to enjoy inside, as well as a firepit outside. There is a TV with a VCR, DVD player and selection of movies. We have a paddle boat, canoe and kayak for water sport and a float to swim from. There is a large deck with barbeque and patio set. Lie on the hammock and have a siesta.

Tarification location
|
The high season rate from mid June through mid September is $900 a week. Offseason rates are $700 a week and $300 a weekend.
Please enquire for holiday rates such as Thanksgiving;Chistmas/New Year;Easter etc.
Please note a $250 security deposit is required at check in. It will be refunded within 48 hours of your stay.
