Description
|
This is the perfect cottage for families with young children. It is located in Foots Bay on popular Lake Joseph with its beautiful clear water. It is close to many amenities including golf courses, restaurants, and shopping available just 10 minutes away in Port Carling, Mactier and Bala. Your children can play on our sandy beach or grassy lawn while you relax in a Muskoka chair on the dock. If you are looking for a traditional cottage where you can get away from the hectic city lifestyle, and the kids can run around barefoot, then our cottage is the place for you.

Heating: fireplace, baseboard heating everywhere
Children allowed: Yes. with sandy beach
Guests allowed: Yes. not overnight without prior discussion
Pets allowed: Yes. at owner's discretion

- Master with Queen size bed and flat screen TV, DVD and Satellite (window with lake view and walk out to deck)
- Second bedroom has a double bed
- Third bedroom with bunk : double on bottom and twin on top
Living room / Dining Room
- stone fireplace, 2 down filled sofas and gorgeous unobstructed view of Lake Joseph (there are no boat houses on either side of our place for at least 2 cottages)
- satellite TV
- dining table seats 6 and also has benches for more guests
Kitchen
Pine cabinets and ceiling, stove, fridge, microwave, blender etc.(fully stocked but no dishwasher)
Bathroom #1 - tub, sink, toilet
Bathroom #2 - shower, sink, toilet
Small screened in porch
Laundry (stackable washer / dryer) and second fridge
BUNKY - sleeps 3
- built in bunk beds with double on bottom and twin on top, small and charming with electricity (not too far from cottage)
wooden structure cottage built in early 1950s all one level, double slip large dock with wooden deck furniture (dining table + chairs, loungers and muskoka chairs), BBQ on upper deck
About a 12 minute boat ride to Lake Joe Club and the ice cream in Port Sandfield (a daily boat ride for us)
Maximum guests sleeping at cottage is 8
