Description
|
Welcome to "Island Dream Beach House" on the beautiful north shore of Prince Edward Island. Island Dream is a two storey home with all of the main living spaces overlooking New London Bay and the fishing village of Stanley Bridge, just south of Cavendish. This central Island location offers excellent opportunity to take advantage of the vast array of activities Prince Edward Island has to offer. It is a 25 minute drive to Charlottetown or Summerside.
Within minutes of the cottage, amenities such as the Cavendish tourist area incuding Anne of Green Gables, the Cavendish National Park with its miles of beach, several top rated golf courses, deep sea fishing, Lobster Suppers, hiking and biking trails, canoeing and kayaking, sea-dooing, parasailing, just to name a few.
This Seawood Estates home offers you the ability to just relax with a leisurely walk along the beach or a restful seat on the top deck watching the boats going and coming as the tide recedes and laps on the shore. The sunsets are spectacular from this perfect location.
Sleeping Arrangements: The two upstairs bedrooms have queen beds. The lower bedroom has two bunk beds, with the lower bed of one of them being a double futon. This arrangement sleeps 9 comfortably. A tenth person could use a single cot. The laundry room has room for the single cot to be set up if a separate room is desired.
A BBQ and fully loaded kitchen can accommodate meals at home. Enjoy time around our fire pit in the evenings.
There is an upstairs living room as well as a downstairs family room with a propane fireplace. The upstairs living space has an electric fireplace. There are two bathrooms, one with a tub and shower and the other a shower.
For our active guests, at no extra charge, a canoe is available with two adult and one child's life jacket. We can also provide two adult bikes and one small adult or young teen bike to use on the red sand roads within Seawood estates.
Board games, movies, books, puzzles, sand toys, outdoor games and high speed internet are provided for your pleasure.

There is a fully stocked kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, stove, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. A BBQ is located on the top deck. Watch the spectacular sunsets while you sit around the fire pit in the evening.
Linens, towels (including 4 beach towels) are provided. An iron, ironing board, washer and dryer are available in the downstairs laundry room. Board games, books, puzzles and movies are provided.
A calling card is required to make long distance calls.

Peak season rate (July/August) starts at $1750.00 for 4 guests. This includes tax.
June/Sept rate starts at $1500.00 per week
The off season rate starts at $800 per week.
Each additional guest is $50.00 per week up to a maximum of 10 guests.
A $100.00 security cheque is collected and can be returned to you by mail or destroyed after inspection of the cottage at the end of your visit.
We accept payment by cash, email interac e-transfer or cheque. A $450 deposit is required within 1 week of booking to reserve your week. The remainder of the balance is due at least two weeks before arrival. Cancellations prior to 60 days of arrival will be fully refunded. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will be refunded 50% of the deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will not be refunded.
Check in time is anytime after 3 pm on Saturday. Check out is by 10:00 am on the following Saturday.
Stays less than 7 nights are welcome with the cost being equal to a one week rate.
