Our cottage with a variable waterfront, sits overlooking the Massassauga Provincial island park which offers unlimited exploration opportunities. Hiking trails on our island can lead to our marina which serves as a grocery-LCBO-movie rental store with great ice cream. It may also lead you to award winning cuisine at Henry's Fish Restaurant or catch a sun set swim in our lagoon on the other side of our island. And.... you can also get there via canoe. All kinds of park islands can be reached by boat and each offers something different in the way of recreational activity.
Pick up and drop off by boat is done at a government dock facility near the end of 12 Mile Bay Road Exit off the 400 highway. There is ample room for parking there. From Toronto, it is approximately a 2 hr. drive to the dock.

Equipment:
Our cottage is fully equipped for cooking, including a barbeque on the deck.We have hot and cold running water from the bay and we filter it for drinking water. Various dining options offer our indoor dining room, a screened in porch, an outlook deck shaded by oak trees and another patio table with an umbrella.
Our 4 piece modernized bathroom allows for a nice hot bath or a rain shower.
Our master bedroom features a rustic queen bed. The second bedroom contains a rustic bunk bed and other bed options for guests. A pull out couch in the living room is yet another bedding option.
The third bedroom is a laundry-storage room and contains a freezer for extra food storage.
A protected shallow beach area is a great wading area for small children.
A 36'x8' floating dock has a stairway into the water for easy exit from a swim.
An open cockpit Kayak; a royalex canoe and a 18' Hobie Cat are available for use.
Numerous adult and child life jackets are available.

Our weekly rate for July and August is $1200.00. It will be subject to rate change discount depending on demand. It drops to $1000.00 weekly for the other spring and fall months. Off- summer weekends will be $500.00. All rates reflect and include water transportation to and from the island.
A 20' pontoon boat with a 60hp high thrust engine may be rented for $600.00/week.
