Located at 279 Main Street in Doaktown, NB, this house is an ideal vacation retreat for couple(s) or the Sports Fisherman. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with two single beds, an open living room and dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Barbeque is available.
A private fishing pool is just steps away offering 300 feet of river frontage on the beautiful Miramichi that is home to Atlantic Salmon. Persons wanting to fish the private pool MUST arrange when contacting owner.
Fly Fishing licenses are required, and can be purchased at official locations. NOTE: The Miramichi River is Fly fishing only.
NO pets.
NO smoking.
WiFi secure access available.
There is no TV or telephone.
Children are welcome, however PLEASE BE AWARE of 3 hazards that are on or adjacent to this property: active road, steep embankment at river, and swift moving water.
Doaktown has all services, including: grocery, post office, pharmacy, medical clinic, auto repair, gas bar, restaurants (including Tim Horton's), Old Mill Pond 9-hole golf course, famous W.W. Doak Atlantic Fly Fishing Tackle store, and Scotiabank.
