Nestled on the edge of the Montague River in Kings County Prince Edward Island, the location is close to everything, yet quiet with a private beach. You are less than 5 minutes to all the conveniences offered in the Town of Montague. (http://www.townofmontaguepei.com/attractions.html) Kayaking and bicycle rentals are available minutes away. The Confederation Trail (http://peilcc.ca/visitorsguide/index.php3?number=1009623)is less than 50 metres from your door. You are within 10 minutes of Brudenell and Dundrave Golf Courses. Three additional exceptional golf courses (Eagles Glen, Beaver Creek and Belfast) are less than 30 minutes away.
This is a very quiet area. Great for children to play outside and with family on the beach area. Evenings are wonderful looking out over the River and enjoying the sunset, while watching the fishing and pleasure craft returning to the waterfront and Montague Marina.
Some of the Island's greatest beaches - including Panmure Island and Basin Head beaches- are a short drive.
This charming post and beam constructed cottage has two magnificent bedrooms.
Reservation policy:
Deposit required $350.00 per week. We will make every effort to rent your week if cancellation required. If able to rent the week, deposit will be returned. Final amount due one month before date booked.
Heating: Hot air furnace, wood stove
Pets allowed: Yes. small dog or cat
The master ( 14' X 24') with a queen size bed and pull-out couch has expansive windows and patio door overlooking the river and covered deck. The second bedroom has 1 queen and 1 double sized bed with ensuite bath. The open concept kitchen, dining, living area has vaulted ceilings and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher.
Two bathrooms provide great access and privacy.
Propane BBQ is ready for steaks, lobster or your dream maritime supper!
PEI's famous Rails to Trails walking and biking trail is less than 50 meters away - kids love to drive the trail into the marina to get ice cream and "people watch"!
