Description
A very private 3 bedroom, 2 storey spacious property,main floor consists of a country kitchen, adjacent dining area with fabulous views of Fox Point Lake. A spacious living room flows into an all glass solarium 11'X26' also overlooking the lake,patio doors lead from the solarium and the living room to a common multi-level deck complete with glass panels for optimum lake view while outside! There are no "bad" seats on the deck!!
Also on the main level is a private bedroom finished with an antique flair with a set of garden doors off the bedroom leading out onto the deck, and a main floor full bathroom and laundry area (washer & dryer).All floors on the main level are wood and ceramic,including the glass solarium area!!
On the 2nd floor there is the master bedroom, complete with Garden doors leading onto a private deck, overlooking the lake. Just off the master bedroom is a walk-in closet and full bathroom. Adjacent to the master bedroom on the 2nd floor is the "loft" room. A huge bedroom complete with king-size bed and a view over the loft onto the living room below and the lake through the front windoww. Upstairs bathroom is also accessible from hall at top of stairs. This property is owner occupied/not a commercial venture per se. Overall ambience would be "country charm" and "comfortable" rather than a showplace one would be afraid to live in. We simply want to share our "pride and joy" with a few responsible folks who will enjoy it as much as we do and treat it as their own. "Make yourself at home".

You may chose not to leave the property...or go exploring!! If you stay there's the swimming,go out in the supplied canoe or just take a leisurely walk down the "ASPOPHAGAN TRAIL" which runs through the center of our 5 acres.Within a 10 minute commute is Hubbards Beach,Queensland Beach,The Saturday morning farmers market,the fabulous "Shore Club Lobster Feast"(daily)held in an authentic dance hall from the 1940's(they still have dances there every saturday night!) or choose from the many neat little restaurants in the village...especially the "TRELLIS" for breakfast or an "old time kitchen party" every friday night with dinner and local live entertainment.Drop by the Hubbards Interperative Center for all the local and provincial tourist attractions for the week your here.Within a 15-30 minute commute are the villages of Chester (chester playhouse live theater)Mahone Bay(famous 3 churches and great sunday outdoor fleamarket,after church,of course)

THE 1ST BOTTLE OF PROPANE IS ON US....ENJOY!! OTHER AMMENITIES INCLUDE WASHER & DRYER,FRIDGE & STOVE,LOTS OF PARKING AND 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE VILLAGE OF HUBBARDS,QUEENSLAND BEACH AND SOME OF THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE IN NOVA SCOTIA.ALL THIS,& STILL ONLY 1/2 HOUR FROM HALIFAX.AN EASY COMMUTE (MANY LOCALS WORK IN HALIFAX)OUR COTTAGE HAS A RUSTIC FEEL WITH GRAVEL PRIVATE ROAD NESTLED IN THE WOODS,WOOD LOG SIDING ON THE EXTERIOR AND TONS OF WINDOWS!!
