Nestled into the rolling wilderness on the edge of Riding Mountain National Park, these enchanting little cabins are fresh and luxurious. Perched on elevated lookouts, each cabin features its very own covered deck...offering a panoramic view of the meadow, forest, and valley beyond. Nature enthusiasts enjoy the exclusive and serene atmosphere synonymous with Crooked Mountain and concur that 'less is definitely more' when it comes to cabin count. Availability has been intentionally limited to just four unique cabins in an effort to maintain a high quality experience in relation to the natural surroundings.
Many bird species including the Great Grey Owl have made the forest their home and share it with an abundance of other furry creatures. both large and small. Groomed hiking/biking/skiing trails meander throughout the entire area, so whether you prefer to spend your time soaking up the tranquility or exploring the mossy forest paths, you are sure to rejuvenate and feel at peace in this laissez-faire atmosphere.
Many visitors choose to split their time between Crooked Mountain and Riding Mountain National Park where the possibilities are limitless. Just 20 minutes away, this unique Park dates back to 1930 and is punctuated by the charming townsite of Wasagaming. It features log and stone heritage buildings; a large, deep, clear lake for swimming, boating and fishing; and beautiful grounds and gardens...
We use silky-soft, eco-friendly bamboo sheets.
Our cabins are perfect for summer holiday vacations, family gatherings and reunions, girlfriends getaways, and romantic holidays for two.
During July and August we accept weekly bookings only.
Waterfront: Close to many mountain lakes and creeks
Heating: Electric
Equipments: Fully eqipped kitchens: fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster - including paper towel, dish soap, saran, tinfoil, coffee filters, salt, pepper and sugar. Also supplied in each cabin: bed linens, blankets, towels, bar soap, tp and kleenex. There is a BBQ on each deck with propane tanks supplied as well as comfortable deck furniture.
The area is wild and rich with natural mountain lakes for swimming and crystal creeks for fishing. 160 acres of groomed forest trails surround a wildflower meadow and lead down through the valley.
Screened in decks provide comfortable retreats at any time of day. All cabins have fully equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities with a bbq on each deck. Each cabin is its own little 'home away from home'. All bedrooms and living rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and good reading lamps.

We are located in a natural, private setting - just 15 minutes from Riding Mountain National Park where there are many activities accessible year round. On site, we provide outdoor games such as croquet, bocci, and sandbags. There is also a huge open meadow to play in and a mature forest with hiking trails and fort building potential. A crystal creek is located just 5 minutes down the road and is enjoyed by many fishing enthusiasts.

(2) 2 bedroom cabins @ $130/nightly $910/weekly 'Alfalfa Cabin' & 'Rosebud Cabin' (sleep 4 each)
(1) 1 bedroom cabin @ $150/nightly $1050/weekly 'Fiddlehead Cabin' (couples romance suite)
(1) 4 bedroom cabin @ $260/nightly $1911/weekly 'Meadowsweet Cabin' (sleeps 8)
We have a two night minimum stay policy during the shoulder seasons except on long weekends when we require three nights. During the summer months of July and August, we accept weekly bookings only. These are set up to run from Friday - Friday each week.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM with Check-out at 11:00 AM
