Description
|
A cozy cottage on beautiful Charleston lake just 30min to Brockville, 45min to Kingston, 90min to Ottawa. It has lots of windows, a large deck and a 5X30ft dock.
Located in Slack's Gap, next to Websters Bay, on Charleston Lake, 4km from the village of Charleston. The water is quite shallow with it being about 3 to 4ft at the dock. It has a sandy bottom which makes it great for kids.
Fishing Season: Bass: 4th Sat. in June to Nov. 30
Lake Trout: 4th Sat. in May to Sept.8
Northern Pike: 2nd Sat in May to Dec.31
I just install a cell phone signal booster so you can get good cell phone signal.
Equipments: Dish washer, fridge, oven/stove, microwave, BBQ, air conditioners, satellite TV and DVD
Please bring own bedding for queen two doubles and a bunk bed and towels.
Heating: Portable electric heaters
Smoking: No. Outside only
Pets allowed: Yes. Please cleanup
Cottage built in 2008, a new sea wall and a 30ft dock in 2011.

Here is some info on the lake:
Charleston lake is 9 miles long and 5 miles wide with over 50 islands. It is a very deep lake, with most of the lake being at least 60ft deep and many areas deeper. At the deepest part it is 300ft. There is lots of cliffs, trees around the lake.
The temperature of the water in the bay were the cottage is located is by early June it would be around 70 fahrenheit and by mid June it would climb to about 75 and then 80-85 for the month of July and early August.
