Description

Cedar Cove Cottage is a lovely, open concept, 3 bedroom waterfront cottage with vaulted ceilings and loads of natural sunlight beaming in. The Viceroy build offers spectacular views of Lac Gauvreau and the private island located directly in front of the cottage. With over a 150 feet of private waterfront property, this cottage is an ideal getaway. Cedar Cove Cottage is a truly private waterfront property with a private creek flowing through one side of the property. The sound of a babbling creek can be heard from the master bedroom. The cottage is located only 30 minutes from Ottawa's Byward market and minutes from historical Wakefield village. Due to its close proximity, many guests choose to stay the entire week and commute to work Monday to Friday.

Equipment:
The fully equipped cottage sleeps 6 adults comfortably and is ideal for 3 couples or an entire family. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed, the guest bedroom has a brand new luxury quality double bed and the third room has a set of twin bunk beds. New this season, we have replaced the guest bedroom with a luxury quality double sized mattress for the most comfortable sleep possible. The 2nd guest bedroom mattress has also been replaced with a good quality new queen sized mattress. The swimming is great with a choice of swimming from the sandy beach area, to jumping off the large cedar dock. The cottage is also equipped with a brand new stainless steel BBQ, all new stainless steel cookware and a front load LG washer and Dryer, so there is no need to haul your laundry back and forth to town. Also new this season is the option of booking your rental week wih a 4 person hot tub on site. The soft tub hot tub is shared between a few cottage rental properties around tha lake and must be booked in advance. Hot tub rental is only $50.00 per week.
Cottage rental also includes the use of two sit on top kayaks and a canoe. (free)
The fishing is also great with both Muskie and Bass in large quantity.
Booking Procedure:
In order to complete a cottage reservation renters are requested to send an email request for the specific date requested. The following information is required.
1) First and last name
2) Complete home address
3) Contact information, including both a home and cell phone number.
4) Date of birth of the individual responsible for the cottage rental
5) Number of guests one wishes to accommodate
Please note that full and complete payment is due upon reserving the cottage property. Payment should be sent via an email money transfer via on line banking.
Email money transfers are the most secure means of transfeing funds as there exists a permanent record of payment made and the security is handled by the banks.
