Kelowna is a perfect playground for many sports such as biking, hiking, white water rafting, boating, sailing, scuba diving, water and jet skiing, kayaking, parasailing, float plane rides boat tours, wakeboarding, mountain biking, fishing, waterslides, go-carts, indoor and mini-golf. Kelowna is a World Class Ski and Gof Destination, with over 50 golf courses in the Okanagan Valley, ranging from family courses, executive, and championship golf courses as well as Big White and Siverstar at Vernon for some great skiing and snowboarding, all with-in a one hour drive. Kelowna and area have daily wine tours and tasting. Waterfront Park in downtown Kelowna has a great sand beach on Okanagan Lake, children's water park, skateboard park, tennis courts, lawn bowling, soccer oval and outdoor entertainment stage.
