Description

Beautiful waterfront 3 bdrm winterized cottage residence situated on Lake Memesagamesing about 3.5 - 4 hours northwest of Toronto. Lake Memesagamesing (Me-me-sag-a-mesing) means lake of many bays. This may seem like a long drive, but it is well worth the extra drive. Think about how many people take 1 - 2 hours to get to work and then the same to travel back home. You will be making this drive to enjoy a week of vacation without a lot of people around.
Fishing is popular sport on this lake with Pickerel; White Fish; Trout; Pike; Bass. Many thanks to the volunteers that have operated the `Sag Lake` Pickerel hatchery for more than 25 years. Bait and ice available on the lake. You can also purchase local Maple Syrup.
Consider making this your accomodations during hunting season. We have seen deer, moose, bear and game birds.
Enjoy winter activities such as snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, etc., at this popular destination. Snowmobile trails pass by the lake and are maintained by Argyle Riders Snowmobile Club. Enjoy a leisure ride around the area or set off on a day trip to Restoule or North Bay.
Lake Memesagamesing is a very quiet lake approx. 10 mi. long with about 100 miles of shoreline made up of many inlets/bays to fish and explore.
Pontoon boat available to rent by qualified boaters and includes up to one tank of fuel. A second tank is situated on the boat and can be purchased.

Northern Palms Golf Course will be opening sometime in 2012/2013 in nearby Arnstein and will feature a 9 hole Executive course.

Pets allowed: Yes. With certain restrictions. Not allowed inside bedroom area or on furniture. Wet dogs must stay in porch until dry. Please pick up after your pet.

Large waterfront area great for swimming with small sandy beach area which is great for small children, and dock to moor 2 boats. Steps at end of dock for easy entry and exit.
Large deck; propane barbecue; patio table and chairs, picnic table; enclosed firepit; plenty of room to play.
2 canoes and 2 pedal boats available at no additional charge. 21' Pontoon boat with 30 hp motor available for rent to qualified boaters.
Bdrm 1 & 2 have queen bed; Bdrm 3 has a single high bunk and a single low bed. Bdrm 3 also has a roll away cot stored in closet.
The Bunkie has a double bed and a couch that folds down to a double bed. (not available for winter)
Back-up power generator in the event of power outage.
Ultra-violet treated and filtered water; Telephone; Washer & Dryer, Large fridge with top freezer; microwave; glass-top stove.
Pillows, blankets available. Bring your own linen and towels.

Weekly or Weekend rentals available from Fall to Spring. 21' Pontoon boat with 30 hp motor also available to rent by qualified boaters and $400.00 weekly price includes up to one 5 gallon tank of fuel. Two consecutive weeks rate is $650.00 and includes up to two 5 gallon tanks of fuel. 2 Canoes and 2 pedal boats included - no additional charge
